“Engineering by Design” project – Building a 3D object from CAD drawings using a laser cutter. The Burj Khalifa tower is used as a base massing. As a demonstration of the integration of aesthetics and functionality, the idea is to take advantage of the thickness of the corrugated boards and create interlocking sawtooth connections, which become the expressed elements for the aesthetic composition of the façade.
